Weight Lose Tips for Women Experiencing Menopause

A lot of women are pleased to go into menopause and there are a lot of reasons to that. The most common and logical reason why they are glad to reach their menopausal stage is because they no longer have to deal with monthly periods or PMS.As with most situations, entering menopausal has its downsides as well and weight gain is one of them. Here are some weight lose tips that you can use if you want to shed off the extra pounds you gained because of menopause.

One of the easiest weight lose tips for women who are experiencing menopause is to increase your levels of activity and decrease you food intake. Move around constantly. You don’t have to go to the gym for a workout session every single day. You can simply do your own aerobics session at home. If you can purchase an exercise bike, go ahead and get one. You can exercise on the bike while watching TV so you don’t need to set aside a special time for exercise. If biking is not your thing, you can still increase your physical activity level by tidying up around the house. Chores will have to be done anyway, so why not do it yourself? It’s good for burning calories.  Weight lose tips are great for getting rid of the extra weight but this particular tip is also good for preventing osteoporosis which is common in menopausal women.

Another one of the menopausal weight lose tips I can give you is to avoid items that make you gain water weight. If you are a drinker, try to avoid drinking alcohol in the first few months of your menopausal period. It would be better, though, if you could totally cut it off your diet. Drinking alcohol and coffee and smoking can make you gain more water weight by retaining water in your body thus giving you a bloated feeling. Drink plain water instead and if you must drink something other than water, choose freshly squeezed fruit juice.

Your consumption of foods that are considered energy dense should be reduced, too. Steer clear of anything that is packed with calories. Chocolates, ice cream, French fries, and soda are just some of the things that most weight lose tips will tell you to avoid. However,  it may seems impossible for some people to totally say bye-bye to these so it’s okay to eat some sometimes as long as you don’t eat too much too often.
